In last campaign rally in Bengal, PM Modi says serving people of state in his destiny this time
Modi asserted that serving the people of the state and ensuring their safety and security is written in his destiny.
The PM accused the ruling party of not living up to the notion of ‘Maa, Maati, Manush’ as he sought public support to free the state from what he called TMC’s ‘Jungle Raj’.
Launching a sharp attack on the Mamata Banerjee-led All India Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday accused the ruling party of not living up to the notion of ‘Maa, Maati, Manush’ as he sought public support to free the state from what he called TMC’s ‘Jungle Raj’.
Addressing a poll rally in Bengal’s Bangaon, Prime Minister Modi alleged, “TMC has left the Maa crying, the Maati has been handed over to syndicates and infiltrators, and Manush has been forced into exile.”

Asserting that Bengal “did wonders” in the first phase of Assembly elections, Modi urged the people of the state to show similar support in the second and final phase of voting on April 29.

“Bengal has done wonders in the first phase of voting! In the first phase, the arrogance of TMC has been destroyed. Now in the second phase, it will seal a huge win for BJP,” Modi said.
Attempting to strike an emotional chord with the people, Modi invoked Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s iconic slogan “Give me blood and I will give you freedom” as he promised to free the state from the reign of TMC’s “massive jungle raj”.
“We just need to remember Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s call. Netaji had said, “Give me blood, and I will give you freedom.” In response to Netaji’s call, the countrymen sacrificed everything they had. Today, Bengal needs just one vote from you. Give us your blessings, give us your vote, and we will free you from TMC,” the Prime Minister added.

Expressing confidence in the victory of the BJP in Bengal, Modi said that after May 4 (result day), the government will settle scores with the goons one by one.
“In the TMC’s reign of jungle rule here, daughters are going missing from this place, but the TMC government here is fast asleep. They have no concern for the daughters. No more now; after May 4, the BJP government will settle scores with these goons one by one,” the PM added.
The first phase of Assembly elections in West Bengal was held on April 23 in 152 constituencies. The second and final phase polling is scheduled to be held on April 29, with counting of votes set for May 4.
